A productive site visit is an inspection, not only a tour. Before leaving, save the project address, RERA number, advertised configuration and your questions. Visit in daylight and, if the location matters for commuting, repeat the journey near peak time.
Outside and common areas
Observe the final approach, drainage, street activity, public transport and operating shops. On site, note entry and exit design, visitor handling, parking circulation, fire access, lift count, corridor width and waste movement. For construction sites, follow safety instructions and view only permitted areas.
Inside the home
Confirm that the unit shown matches the promised configuration. Measure critical furniture walls, check door swings, windows, balconies, kitchen utility, bathroom ventilation and service shafts. Ask which sample-home elements are upgrades. Photograph only with permission and label images immediately.
Before you leave
Collect a dated cost sheet, payment plan, specifications and the exact phase details. Ask what is included, what is optional and which statements appear in the agreement. Do not make an irreversible payment simply because of a same-day offer. Review the information calmly and verify it independently.
